Med Academy was founded in 2006 with a single focus in mind: becoming a strong leader in the diagnostic imaging instruction field.
The following are some of our key institutional highlights:
2006
Founded as a continuing education provider in the modality of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
2008
Computed Tomography was added as a continuing education activity.
2010
Became licensed by The Commission for Independent Education (Florida Department of Education).
2010
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging program was added as a formal educational program.
2010
Became accredited by The American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist.
2012
Mammography was added as continuing education activity.
2013
Became candidate for Accreditation with the Commission of the Council in Occupational Education.
2014
Received accreditation by the Commission of the Council in Occupational Education.
2017
Approved for Associated Degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
2018
Moved to our new location. Bigger, better and stronger for all our current and future students.
2019
Approved for Associated Degree in Radiology Technology.
